Security & Sessions

monodit supports multiple sign-in methods and gives you control over active sessions.

Sign-in methods

You can sign in with:

  • Password
  • Magic link
  • Google
  • GitHub

monodit does not currently support built-in two-factor authentication.

For stronger account security, we recommend using:

  • OAuth sign-in, such as Google or GitHub
  • Magic link sign-in

These options reduce reliance on a reusable password.

Password reset

If you use password-based sign-in, you can reset access through the Forgot password? flow.

Session management

You can review and revoke active sessions from your account settings.

This is useful if:

  • you signed in on a shared device
  • you lost access to a browser or machine
  • you want to force a logout across older sessions

Account security tips

For better security:

  • prefer OAuth or magic link when possible
  • revoke sessions you no longer recognize
  • avoid sharing account access
  • use caution when importing third-party widgets or themes
