Quick Start
Getting started with monodit is fast. You do not need an account to begin.
Tip — hold ⌥ while dragging to bypass grid snapping and place widgets pixel-perfectly.
Guest Mode
When you first visit monodit, you immediately enter Guest Mode.
In Guest Mode, you can start using a real workspace immediately. You can add widgets, resize them, organize dashboards, and keep your work saved locally in the browser.
Guest Mode is intentionally powerful, but it is not identical to a signed-in Pro account. For example, some account-level and advanced features such as asset buckets, unlimited imports, and the dit workspace assistant are not available in Guest Mode.
For the full breakdown, see Plans & Limits and Guest Mode & Sync.
Creating an Account
Once you are happy with your setup and want to access it from other devices, you can create an account.
Click the Login button in the dashboard to sign up.
If you have built a dashboard in Guest Mode, logging in for the first time will automatically transfer your local layout to your new cloud account.
If you log into an existing account that already has a dashboard saved, monodit will ask you which version you want to keep to prevent accidental overwrites.
For more details, see Cloud Sync & Conflicts.
